ANNA MCKEE is the Co-founder and Secretary of the DePue Alumni Foundation. She is a former community member and employee of the DePue School District. Anna's introduction to DePue came through a school improvement grant that operated to address transformation efforts in the district. Over the multi-year grant period, Anna developed and supported administrative efforts in budgeting, purchasing, state and school level reporting, data collection, marketing, human resources, and community outreach. She addressed direct educator supports through the development of a new teacher evaluation tool, developed programs related to teacher recruitment and retention, as well as, curriculum mapping, professional development and content coaching. She also contributed to student development by identifying and planning assessments, college and career readiness efforts, and academic achievement programs.
After Anna’s direct grant work, her career continued in direct support efforts at the school district level. This experience included grant writing and administrative support, business operations, district data coordination, fundraising, human resources, community coordination, and professional development. Anna has worked directly with school administration, faculty, PK-12 students, school boards, and a variety of community partners. During her decade long journey in DePue, Anna served as a volunteer of the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAG) and district liaison with the Village. Anna also developed and led a student mentoring program, in addition to community programs supporting literacy and English language learners. She formed and chaired a parent advisory council, and co-founded this alumni foundation to fund scholarships and support the DePue community at large.
Anna is the proud parent of a DePue Alumnus and holds a Bachelors in Business Administration, with a minor in Social Work .
